How powerful is Facebook’s facial recognition for tagging? Has anyone tried minor photo edits to trick it?

Hi all.

Not a big Facebook user for obvious reasons, but because of other reasons, I do have a small personal Facebook page. However, I also have a fake, blank Facebook account I use to sign into apps, such as tinder, for LGBT stuff. Currently, all profile photos in said apps are missing a face.

What I’d like to do actually show my face in said apps, such as tinder, but I’m concerned that Facebook will connect my face and blow my semi-anonymous activities.

Is disabling tagging in both accounts sufficient? If not, would minor facial edits in photoshop or such be enough to bypass the connection? Has anyone tried this?
